The boots should be strong enough and comfortable to wear for the worker to walk around the danger zone working area.
- Workpants: if there is substantial work outdoors and in wilderness areas, or otherwise, areas with a thick underbrush, extra-strong khakis would be a proper choice, and many of these now can come lined with leather knee-caps or shin-cuffs, which serve to further protect the worker as well as extend the life of the clothing.
- Work shirts should not be too tight so the worker can breath enough while doing the hard work.
- Helmets – while not considered a clothing specialty, even these can have a wide range of designs. The design should be durable for any falling materials that might accidentally come to the worker’s head. But we’ll safe that discussion for another day.
